What a joy it was to read works by E. Nesbit and to do a drawing for a scene in her story. She was an amazing English writer, influencing the works of Tolkien, Travers and eventually Rowling. She was also a political activist and co-founded the Fabian Society, a precursor to the modern Labour Party. She was a bohemian in her lifestyle.
